How it works
Secure Bluetooth® Connectivity
AmpliSec uses Bluetooth® technology to enable secure communication between authorised devices and the lock. This supports consistent performance across diverse applications without relying on permanent network connections.
Audit trails and event logging
All access events are logged and made available through Gunnebo iQ, so you can retrace events for security reviews, incident investigations and regulatory reporting.
Integration with Gunnebo iQ Software
AmpliSec integrates with Gunnebo iQ, where work orders can be extended when operations are delayed and ad hoc allocations opened when plans change. KPI widgets show site status and lock usage across all your locations.
Time-based and conditional access
Access can be restricted to specified time windows, adding a layer of protection for sensitive assets. It can also be limited to a specific location (geofencing) or require authorisation from two people.
Retrofit-Compatible SwingBolt Design
AmpliSec is based on a Class B SwingBolt secure unit with a standard footprint designed to fit most standard safes and doors, supporting upgrades without extensive modification.

AmpliSec has been tested by independent international organisations and developed in collaboration with Orange Cyberdefense.

Cash-in-transit operations open safes at many locations, often without a stable network. AmpliSec can be set to open only at the authorised location, and Bluetooth keeps it working without a permanent network connection.

Banks need internal controls that hold across every branch and user. AmpliSec can require two authorised people to open a safe together, and every event is logged centrally in Gunnebo iQ for internal audit.
